1962-69 Naval Officer in the Submarines. 1969-71 Created and managed Dolphin Diving Company engaged in underwater salvage. 1971-75 Sailed as Master of three cargo ships. 1977-84 Lloyd's Cargo and Marine Surveyor for Toplis & Harding, New York. 1984-date President of Sea Horse International, Surveying and Marine consultant. Specialty: protection against insurance fraud and large claim handling.

Capt. Elbendary is an official arbitrator in Monaco, Maritime Chamber of Arbitration; he also negotiates and solves marine and cargo disputes worldwide on behalf of insurance companies and trading companies.
